Heather and Dillon

Hi everyone! My name is Heather and that adorable guy you see on the left is my man Dillon. I fell head over heels in love with him 6 years ago when I adopted him through Henrico Humane. Animals have always been a big part of my life. From age 7 until I left for college, I lived with Nutmeg, who loved to stand on top of her doghouse in the backyard and survey her territory. While at JMU my roommates and I lived with Cody, a pure white Eskimo Spitz with tons of energy! I also adopted Berkeley, a cat who loved people and followed me everywhere around the house!

After I graduated a friend and I rescued a whole litter of kittens from a storm sewer and found homes for all of them and of course, I couldn't resist keeping one for myself- Jazminne! I have also done volunteer work with Henrico Humane and co-produced and edited their newsletter. That brings my story back to when I adopted Dillon. My friends have always been able to see my love for all animals and have trusted me with the care of their cherished pets- from dogs and cats to birds, bunnies, fish, turtles, and hamsters! Since 2008 I have been a professional pet sitter and very much enjoy caring for others' pets when an extra hand is needed! I look forward to meeting your furry (or feathery, or scaly, ...) family members.

Veronica has worked Full Time for Fur Pets' Sake for a year but has been professionally pet sitting for 5 years, and absolutely loves it! She loves to stay busy. She has a houseful with 4 fur babies of her own!
